The Student Labor Organizing Conference is a chance to meet dedicated student-activists from across the UC who want to build a movement for student and worker power. It will be an empowering weekend of workshops and planning sessions to sharpen our organizing skills and build a movement strong enough to fight the attack on UC students and workers.

On our campuses we see the same trends–our Universities are becoming privatized at alarming rates and making devastating cuts that hurt students and workers. At SLOC, we will get the skills we need to win tangible change on campus and we will make plans to build a statewide campaign for worker’s rights. You will attend workshops, such as how to recruit students, build coalitions, get covered by local media, racial justice in the workplace, and run strategic campaigns. If you would like to host a workshop, fill out this form:

Please note that we will be giving preference to earlier applicants.
