The Students of Color Conference (SOCC) is the annual University of California Student Association (UCSA) event where members come together to engage and challenge students of color and their allies to address issues of structural and cultural inequalities.

SOCC is UCSA’s oldest and largest conference, providing a safe space for students of color and their allies to strategize around statewide and campus-based actions.

The Students of Color Conference provides a forum for individuals to discuss, explore and educate themselves regarding a wide array of issues affecting people of color (POC). Our primary goal for the conference is to create an inclusive space for community engagement from students of color from all backgrounds.

The University of California, Riverside (UCR) will be hosting this year’s statewide Students of Color Conference! This year’s theme will be about educational justice.

The ASUCI Office of the External Vice President will cover ALL hotel, registration, and transportation costs for selected applicants. Some meals will be included in the registration fees. We will be taking a delegation of 80 students. Although all students are encouraged to apply, priority consideration will go to students of color and students who are not involved in ASUCI.
