INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVOCACY (ISAC)
Commission Mission
The International Student Advocacy Commission (ISAC) aims to help international students integrate fluidly into campus life and society, enhancing their student experience as thriving members of the UCI community. Serving as a bridge between the ASUCI administration and the international student body, our commission engages with student voices to support initiatives and enrich the international student experience. Our services also involve collaboration with campus-affiliated student organizations and coordination with other commissions within the Office of the Internal Vice President to advance various international student objectives.
Commission Goals:
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where international students feel comfortable and valued
- Organize events and programs to enhance international student’s university experience
- Collaborate with on-campus organizations and student clubs to provide service events tailored to international students
- Facilitate interaction between international students and domestic students
- Bring international students’ voices into the campus community
- Be transparent and approachable for international students to learn about ASUCI and its resources
