Kristine Latuhoi
She will be performing a Tongan cultural dance called the Tau’olunga. It is a graceful dance to a traditional tongan song.
Ballet Folklorico de UC Irvine is a student run organization that welcomes students, alumni, and community members to participate and learn about a variety of different Mexican histories and traditions through dance and music. Today they will be performing two songs from the region of Jalisco, known for its bright dresses filled with ribbons

Wushu Club at UCI
Wushu Club at UCI is a recreational sport associated with the ARC. They practice Wushu a performance based martial art which involves routines called forms. These forms have a variety of styles and weapons (not real and not sharp) that showcase their skill and discipline over their bodies. Their performance is a showcase of individual forms and a coordinated group form.
Swing Dance at UCI is a dance organization dedicated to learning and sharing the art of Swing Dance. Our club teaches various styles from Lindy Hop to Charleston, and anyone is welcome to join from beginner to advanced. Our performance will feature choreography by one of our Co-Presidents Kiana Natsuko Reed, and will feature our signiture partner dancing style.

The Mix
The Mix is a band with Hazel Jolly Kurien (Vocalist), Bianca Carrillo (Bass), Kenneth Albarillo (Drums), Derick Ong (Guitar), and Marcos Perez (Keyboard). The Mix formed last year, playing all genres— from Silk Sonic to Arctic Monkeys, from RnB to bossa nova, from Japanese to Portuguese—they play all types of music that’s guaranteed to make you groove! The Mix plays to have a good time, so they hope you have as much fun as they have on stage!
Hansori at UCI is a student-run organization who strives to preserve traditional Korean culture through the practice of traditional Korean drumming known as 풍물 (Pungmul) and 사물놀이 (Samulnori). They will be performing a short marching routine for everyone today. They hope you enjoy their performance!

Mariachi Orgullo de UCI
Mariachi Orgullo de UCI is the University of California, Irvine’s first official mariachi, established in 2024 and dedicated to celebrating and preserving traditional mariachi music while uplifting Mexican and Latinx culture on campus and beyond. Composed of passionate student musicians, the group performs a vibrant repertoire that honors cultural heritage while fostering community and representation through music.
Nā ʻŌpio O Ka ʻĀina, UCI’s Hawaiʻi Club, presents their hula hui. They will be performing a Tahitian ʻOteʻa to ʻOteʻa Heivariʻi, followed by a hula ʻauana to Pua Tuberose. Follow the club’s instagram to get updates on their annual Lūʻau with free admission this May!

最好的未来 is our elementary school song. Through this performance, we hope to revisit those simple and innocent days of childhood.
This is a traditional Sichuan face changing performance from China. The act involves exciting music and sudden changes of faces to sometimes tell a vivid story. It’s considered a key cultural heritage in China and a key element in Sichuan opera.

Haath is the South-Asian Fusion A Cappella team at UCI, created with the vision of blending the heritage of South-Asian music with the sounds of contemporary Western tunes. Through their unique combinations of different languages, musical styles, and beats, they hope to enchant audiences by showcasing the power of storytelling and music.
