Modern Completely Insane Anteaters (MCIA) is an exhibition dance team that gives its members opportunities to dance, grow, and have fun while upholding the values of respect, family, and its roots.

Our dance style consists of hip hop, grooves, femme, r&b, etc.

Morse Coda A Cappella is the newest all-inclusive a cappella group at the University of California, Irvine! We are a group of passionate musicians who share a love for a cappella. With members hailing from various academic backgrounds, Morse Coda thrives on collaboration and innovation, blending contemporary choral, pop, jazz and R&B into our arrangements and original compositions. Our audition video includes 2 of our pieces: ‘when the party’s over’ (opb. Billie Eilish) and a Morse Coda original, ‘Dance Dance Revolution’.

Kiana Byer is a singer-songwriter from Orange County with a deep-rooted passion for jazz, folk, and pop. Growing up in a musical household, she developed a love for storytelling through her original songs. Kiana is thrilled to take the stage once again at this year’s Sunset Showdown, eager to share her music and connect with the audience.

VocaLotus A Cappella is an all-gender a cappella group at UCI. We are composed of dedicated singers who share a passion for music and desire to share that with the community.

Established in 2009, Vermillion Vocalists, also known as VEVO, is an all-inclusive a cappella group at the University of California, Irvine dedicated to musical excellence. We are comprised of diverse and talented individuals, united with a shared passion, dedication, and love of music-making. Likewise, we have a similarly diverse taste in repertoire, ranging from classic hits to today’s chart toppers in genres such as pop, hip hop, and R&B.

Urmo is a family dedicated to growth and individual expression through movement. Our goal is to uphold the history of dance culture and our teams passion for artistry in an inclusive space to foster the purest representation of ourselves.

Hi! My name is Sahil and I’m a junior Business Administration major. I’ve always been passionate about performing since I was a  child, taking the stage in musicals and bringing unique characters to life. My favorite role was Harry Bright in Mamma Mia!, a production that deepened my love for theater. In addition to acting, I love to sing and find joy in expressing myself through music. Whether on stage or simply sharing my voice, I try to embrace every opportunity to connect with an audience through the power of performance.

Haath A Cappella is UCI’s award winning south asian fusion a cappella team at UCI. Our mixes strive to perfectly blend the intricate heritage of south asian music with the sounds of contemporary western tunes. We’ve participated in many competitions and performances in the UC Irvine and Irvine community!

INSA dance is an exhibition open choreography dance team based at UC Irvine . Founded in 2008, our mission is to share our passion and love for dance with the public. As a family, we uphold our values and the name, I Never Stand Alone.

We are a new indie band from southern California. Our sound is often described as melodic and fresh by others. We perform often, and have played several shows at venues such as The Haven, Chain Reaction, and The Whisky a Go-Go. Our band consists of four members which include vocals, drums, bass, and guitar. We perform mainly originals and plan to do so for this amazing event.
