Hello everyone! Daryl is an electric guitar instrumentalist that plays mainly famous anime songs! He has performed in many anime conventions in Malaysia, Singapore and USA. He hopes you guys enjoy his performance and rock on !!!

Kekoa will be preforming his original music. The main message he wants to send through his performance is that art is subjective. The beautiful thing about art and music is that it can be interpreted in an infinite amount of ways, all depending on the audience. Through his music, he aims to be true to himself and create the art that he truly desires.

Circle of Fifths is UC Irvine’s oldest a cappella group, as well as the only tenor-bass/lower voice focused a cappella group on campus! They pride themselves on being a safe, positive learning environment for lower voice-oriented technique that creates community for anyone, regardless of identity, prior experience, or existing voice part.

INSA (I Never Stand Alone) is an exhibition open choreography dance team at UCI that focuses on sharing a love of dance with the IDC (Irvine Dance Community) and beyond. INSA deeply values its tight-knit, supportive family, made up of dancers of all levels who bring positivity and encouragement to the space. The team recently welcomed 22 amazing new members into its newest Rho class and is excited to share its latest winter set. No Voice Alone (NOVA) is a diverse, all-gender a cappella group at the University of California, Irvine. They are dedicated to helping each member grow as a vocalist and performer through guidance, collaboration, and creativity. Their mission is to inspire confidence, foster musical excellence, and perform in an uplifting environment while building a close-knit, supportive community. Although they perform a wide variety of genres, their arrangements draw significant influence from R&B and jazz. Their group was only founded this year and they are beyond excited to debut their first ASUCI performance!

“My Way by Frank Sinatra” is a song about acceptance of finality and about reflection of the ups and downs of life. Matthew Aldana is a singer who loves sharing his joy of singing to the world. Making people smile is what makes him happiest, and he finds that singing is easily his favorite method of doing that. Established in 2009, Vermillion Vocalists, also known as VEVO, is an all-inclusive a cappella group at the University of California, Irvine, dedicated to creating meaningful musical experiences through vocal performance. Recognizable in red and black, VEVO is composed of diverse and talented individuals who come together not only as performers, but as a close-knit family. As active participants in the a cappella communities and other community events across various college campuses, VEVO has a diverse taste in repertoire, ranging from classic hits to today’s chart toppers in genres such as pop, hip hop, and R&B.

DA_SOUND_PROVIDER is a rapper, producer, and songwriter from San Diego, CA. The sounds and bars that are about to make first contact with your eardrums are songs from his first upcoming album, 3 DIMENSIONAL CANVAS. The canvas is his life, one that started blank but has flourished with color throughout, each representing emotional experiences and triumphs. Modern Completely Insane Anteaters, MCIA, is an exhibition dance team that gives its members opportunities to dance, grow, and have fun while upholding the values of respect, family, and its roots.

Morse Coda, founded just over a year ago, is an all-inclusive a cappella group at UC Irvine. MC thrives on collaboration, innovation, and student leadership, with all their arrangements completed in-house. MC regularly performs at both on and off campus events, and they are excited to be at Sunset Showdown!

The Mix is a band with Hazel Jolly Kurien (Vocalist), Bianca Carrillo (Bass), Kenneth Albarillo (Drums), Derick Ong (Guitar), and Marcos Perez (Keyboard). The Mix has formed this year, playing all genres— from Silk Sonic to Lamp, from RnB to bossa nova, from Japanese to Portuguese—they play all types of music that’s guaranteed to make you groove! The Mix plays to have a good time, so they hope you have as much fun as they have on stage!

Mood Indigo is an indie/alternative band based out of Walnut and Whittier California. Their sound is often described as melodic, which is displayed on their two current singles out titled “Doe Eyes” and “50’s Romantic Type.” With an album in the works, their song will be played live for the first time.
