Personal Facts/Passions:
Some of my passions are watching movies, especially anything related to Godzilla or Transformers. I love to read books, primarily murder mysteries and romance. I love to do powerlifting and running.
Why did you join ASUCI?:
I am from the Long Beach area, and I have always been active in the community, whether through advocacy with Youth Voices/Voting, environmentalism, or getting more people of color into STEM. However, I wanted to expand my advocacy and help within my new community at UCI. With UCI’s diverse population, I want to understand people from different backgrounds and find ways I can help.
Goals:
My goal as an At-large Senator is to ensure that UCI undergraduates have their voices heard and that their specific issues are resolved. Currently, I am a freshman, so one of my personal goals is to learn more about sub-communities at UC Irvine. I am currently trying to expand my understanding of issues facing the commuter community as a commuter myself. If you need any help or advocacy, you can contact me.
