According to the ASUCI Constitution, “the Judicial Board’s authority shall extend to all judicial cases arising under this Constitution; the various by-laws of ASUCI; all official actions of the Executive Officers, Senate members, and ASUCI Commissioners; and any matters delegated to the Judicial Board by the Senate.” The Board’s authority specifically includes, but is not limited to, hearing appeals of decisions made by the ASUCI Elections Commission, as well as upholding individuals’ and organizations’ rights. In addition, the UCI Chancellor may delegate other powers and responsibilities to the Judicial Board.
