Mental Health – Coping with a Never-Ending To-Do List
This post is brought to you by the Mental Health Commission! Midterm season is upon us, and with this comes a long to-do list and potential stress or overwhelm. We would like to take this time to remind you that you’ve got this! Your success will come if you prioritize taking frequent breaks that bring you joy and/or relaxation. Eat nourishing meals, and dance in the shower – this too shall pass! If you make time to sharpen the knife that is your mind, then your success will come much easier and faster for you. As Abraham Lincoln once brilliantly stated, “Give me six hours to chop down a cherry tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
Take a deep breath, stay hydrated, sleep on time, nourish your body, create a strategy, and stay optimistic. You are capable of achieving anything that you set your mind to. <3
