Hello! My name is Matt Lam, and I am a first-year student majoring in Urban Studies. I enjoy spending quality time with my friends through cafes and outdoor activities like hiking. As an academic engagement intern, I strive to foster an inviting space that promotes academic reassurance and a confident intuition to use available resources. Moreover, I seek to cultivate a culture where students are eager and have no hesitancy to take advantage of provided opportunities!

I am an incoming transfer student this year as a math major. I did my first two years of college at OCC and am looking forward to a new experience at UCI. I will be working as an Academic Engagement Intern, and I can’t wait to see what I can do to help students enjoy their time at UCI.
