[2026-2027 Student Programming Commission] Campus Spirit Coordinator Application (Due Friday, 5/29, at 11:59 PM)

The Campus Spirit Coordinator is dedicated to fostering school pride and strengthening campus morale by planning and implementing large-scale spirit programming for the UCI community. Coords and interns organize events such as Spirit Days, UCI Homecoming programming, and Defend the Bren to encourage student participation and celebrate Anteater pride. In addition to major events, the division hosts boothing and outreach opportunities across campus to promote upcoming programs and increase student engagement.

The Campus Spirit Coordinator will:

- Implement SPC events, such as, but not limited to, spirit day(s), UCI Homecoming, and rallies at least once a quarter to promote campus spirit and student body morale across UCI, communicating with any parties necessary to plan such events.

- Host boothing events on campus to encourage students to attend events hosted by the Office.

- Promote student involvement at UCI through these events that are hosted.

- Encourage a positive intern and office dynamic.

- Host weekly commission meetings to discuss event programming.

- Attend weekly SPC leadership meetings and weekly All-Staff meetings

- Uphold professional and effective communication with professional staff to facilitate productive event programming.

- Fulfill all required and assigned duties of a commissioner from the SPC and Chief of Staff in a timely manner.

- Uphold an inclusive, welcoming environment in the Office of SPC and in the areas that its events extend.
