RAR Commission Description:

The Recruitment and Retention (RAR) Commission is under the Office of the Internal Vice President (IVP). We are dedicated leaders of our ASUCI and UCI community that serves to connect and break barriers between students and leaders. We are responsible for the ASUCI-related outreach through quarterly Open Houses. And are responsible for building a family-like atmosphere through hosting events, such as the All-ASUCI meetings, orientation, social events, and the yearly Banquet! We ensure that the ASUCI community is an inclusive, supportive, and transparent environment for all.

General Intern Expectations:

-Attend weekly team meetings and ALL-ASUCI events/meetings hosted and planned by RAR

-Plan All-ASUCI related events/meetings (Orientation, Open House, Socials, Banquet, etc.)

-Host quarterly recruitment for ASUCI

-Collaborate with not only the Office of the Internal Vice President but all of the branches of ASUCI on events/meetings

-Build a community for people to join and feel comfortable in

-Create and Edit videos/content for RAR use (i.e. graphics, workshop videos, webseries, etc.)

Office Requirements

-All-ASUCI Meetings (Weeks 3 and 6 of every quarter)

-All-IVP Meetings (Weeks 3, 6, and 9 of every quarter)

-Weekly commission meetings

-Weekly IVP Pub Hours

-ASUCI Orientation
