[2026-2027 Student Programming Commission] Student Performance Coordinator Application (Due Friday, 5/29, at 11:59 PM)

A Student Performance Coordinator is dedicated to creating opportunities for student performers to showcase their talents and engage the broader UCI community through live performance events. The goal is to plan and execute programs such as Sunset Showdown that highlight the diverse artistic talents present on campus, including performances by student organizations like a cappella groups, dance teams, and other performing arts groups.

The Student Performance Coordinator will:

- Plan and execute SPC performance events, such as, but not limited to, Sunset Showdown.

- Facilitate the recruitment of student performers and performing groups for performance events external to the Office of SPC, such as, but not limited to, the Anteater Involvement Fair and Celebrate UCI.

- Promote student involvement at UCI through these events that are hosted.

- Encourage a positive intern and office dynamic.

- Host weekly commission meetings to discuss event programming.

- Attend weekly SPC leadership meetings and weekly All-Staff meetings

- Uphold professional and effective communication with professional staff to facilitate productive event programming.

- Fulfill all required and assigned duties of a coordinator from the SPC and Chief of Staff in a timely manner.

- Uphold an inclusive, welcoming environment in the Office of SPC and in the areas that its events extend.
