[2026-2027 Standing Personnel Office] Standing Retention Officer

Hello prospective applicant! Thank you for your interest in applying to serve as the Standing Retention Officer in ASUCI for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Standing Retention Officer is responsible for the implementation of programs to attract and retain the personnel of the Association, assisting all officials in positions of management with the fulfillment of their obligations under the Bylaws, and planning all retention activities such as banquets and all-ASUCI meetings. They are also responsible for office transition, managing transition documents, and other resources. Possible tasks of the officer would be to upkeep the ASUCI internal directory, plan all-ASUCI events, and create a large folder of transition documents from each staff member at the end of the year.
As Standing Retention Officer, your tasks may include:

- Managing orientation, onboarding materials, and training for new hires.

- Hosting all-ASUCI events (e.g. Orientation, quarterly meetings, Open Houses, social events, and yearly Banquet).

- Fostering an environment where interns are supported in building strong leadership skills and advancing their professional development.

- Ensuring that all staff members are in compliance with membership requirements at the end of every academic quarter.

- Strengthening the bonds and relationships between all ASUCI branches.

- Maintaining all official records of the Association and leading the transition process at the end of the academic year through the collection of transition documents.
