[2026-2027] The Hill Bookstore Advisory Board Representative Application

The Hill Bookstore Advisory Board Description:

The Hill @ UCI Advisory Board consists of undergraduates, graduates, and university administrators to represent student interests at The Hill. The Hill Advisory Board shall advise the full-time Director in regards to managing the store, its sales, and what should be improved in order to create a more responsive and effective bookstore for the students. The purpose of this The Hill Advisory Board is to create transparency for what improvements are being done to benefit students and the high quality expected of a university bookstore. The Hill Advisory Board shall be a safe space for students to express concerns and issues related to The Hill and its upkeep.

This year there will be four (4) student representatives to be appointed by ASUCI, and the appointments shall last one academic school year.

Expectations and Responsibilities:

- Attend meetings and be active on The Hill Advisory Board, making recommendations to the advisory board

- Follow ASUCI Code of Ethics and UCI Student Conduct

- Vote on action plans that the Board recommends should be carried out at the Hill

- Make recommendations relating to the Board and be active as well
