Personal Facts/Passions:
I’m originally from the Bay Area and currently on the pre-law track. I’m passionate about social justice and community building. Outside of academics, I love trying to make new recipes, working out, and building complex legos. I’m also a huge fan of analyzing film and television, and my favorite show is Breaking Bad. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and finding fun ways to collaborate. Whether I’m planning events or just catching up over a matcha, I’m always excited to connect and build community!
Why did you join ASUCI?:
I joined ASUCI because I’ve always cared deeply about public policy and how it directly shapes students’ lives, especially in the current climate. Being part of ASUCI allows me to turn that passion into real change. I can represent my peers, address campus issues, and help create positive changes. I’ve been involved in different organizations on campus and have seen how student leadership can make a real impact.
Goals:
As the ASUCI Senator for the School of Social Ecology, I am dedicated to preserving the voice of Social Ecology students, strengthening resources, and expanding research and career opportunities. My goal is to build a more inclusive community within the school by creating spaces that bring students together through collaborations with other ASUCI branches and campus organizations. I am committed to promoting academic growth by organizing study nights, de-stress events, and career panels. Guided by equity and inclusion, I strive to ensure that every initiative reflects diversity and that all students feel represented. Through outreach, social media engagement, and open feedback, I hope to build a lasting sense of connection among all Social Ecology students at UCI.
