Personal Facts/Passions:
Some of my personal interests include watching Disney and horror movies, which are two of my favorite ways to unwind! I also love taking afternoon naps whenever I get the chance because I’m a big believer in recharging when you need it. I really enjoy going out with friends, whether that’s just spending time together or trying something new, and I’m always down to explore different cafes and discover new food spots around the area (my favorite is always Japanese cuisines)!!
Why did you join ASUCI?:
I joined ASUCI because I wanted to be more involved on campus and make sure students, especially within Social Ecology, feel heard and represented. I’ve seen how easy it is for students to feel disconnected from resources or decision-making, and I wanted to be part of changing that by advocating for clearer communication, more accessible opportunities, and stronger support systems. Being in ASUCI gives me the chance to directly work on issues that impact students and help create a more connected and supportive community.
Goals:
As your ASUCI Social Ecology Senator, my goals for 2025–2026 are to make sure students feel heard, supported, and connected to real opportunities. I plan to improve transparency by sharing regular updates and creating consistent ways for students to give feedback, while also expanding access to internships, research, and career resources. I want to host more intentional events like career panels and workshops that help students build connections and community. At the same time, I will advocate for stronger mental health, academic, and basic needs support, making sure student concerns are pushed forward into real action.
