ACADEMIC RESOURCES

Commission Mission
The Academic Resources Commission is dedicated to supply students with the fundamental resources required in order to further establish their right to an equitable education. We aim to increase awareness of on-campus resources and cater to student needs by providing the accessibility necessary to support students in every way possible, particularly through hosting free resource fairs with academic materials, hosting scholarship information sessions, and creating easily navigable ways for students to learn more and access other resources on campus.

My name is Denise Rojas, and I’m the 2025 – 2026 Academic Resource Director. This year, my goals are to expand accessibility across campus by collaborating with departments, cultural centers, and programs at UCI to create a strong support network for all students. I plan to organize hands-on workshops for scholarship support, increase awareness for DSC academic accommodations, develop engaging study events that promote community, while also highlighting underrepresented majors and academic resources through tailored outreach. Overall, I aim to make academic support at UCI more engaging, transparent, and genuinely helpful for every student’s academic journey.
