Hello Anteaters!
My name is Naomi De Dios, and I’m a first-year majoring in Social Policy and Public Service and planning to pursue a double major in Business Administration. I’m very excited to be your Deputy Elections Commissioner of Marketing and Outreach for the 2024-2025 school year!
Giving back to my community and the people around me is something I’ve always been genuinely passionate about. Throughout high school, I’ve had many opportunities to make an impact on the people around me. Being a board member and social media manager for many clubs including National Honors Society, UNICEF, and Red Cross, a club manager for ASB, and the VP of Communications for two of my high school’s Virtual Enterprise businesses, were some of the many opportunities I’ve had to not only grow in my leadership but also helped me make an impact on those around me. Whether it was planning multiple club fundraisers, organizing club-wide events like fairs and Club Rush, or creating fun media content to promote all our school events, I’ve found enjoyment in being able to give back to my community and I’m excited to continue this passion here at UCI!
As your Deputy Elections Commissioner for Marketing & Outreach I’m striving to make this year’s elections as exciting as possible through creating a fun election theme, hosting entertaining, interactive events around campus, and partnering with your favorite student organizations & departments to create enjoyable content to promote the elections. So stay tuned, you won’t want to miss all the fun content and updates planned for this year’s election season!
Outside of the ASUCI Elections Commission and my other academic or extracurricular involvements, you’ll always find me out and about, whether that’s at the beach, hiking or taking a walk in nature, going out on boba runs, trying new food places, going out with friends, trying out new arts and crafts ideas, or going to concerts and festivals, I’m always out doing something. So if you ever see me around campus don’t be afraid to say hi! I’m always available to talk whether it’s about anything elections & marketing-related, or just to have a chill conversation :)
