ANTLEADER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (AMP)
Commission Mission
The Antleader Mentorship Program (AMP) is a student-run mentorship program aimed to help 1st & 2nd year students transition into a 4-year university coming from first-generation, low-socioeconomic backgrounds.
The program helps by providing them with various on- and off- campus resources, creating a safe environment for conversations about social issues and social justice topics, and promoting collective and individual growth throughout their time in the program that will benefit them during their time at UCI. Weekly in-person workshops allow for students to go over these topics and academic resources, and the program socials help build a community within campus and further acquaint mentors with mentees.
