The Commuter Student Support Commission focuses on enhancing the lives of commuter students at UCI, bringing awareness to different resources and organizations across campus to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in college. We are also dedicated to forming a sense of community within commuters by hosting various social events that aim to connect them together and create a shared sense of belonging.

Commission Goals:

  1. Plan events that are inclusive and mindful of commuter students and their schedules.
  2. Create spaces for commuters to share feedback on their student experiences.
  3. Increase visibility of existing campus resources and expand on them to better suit commuters’ needs.
  4. Foster a sense of belonging within commuter students.
